How working with us feels

What changes in your first month.

  1. Your books are currentXero reconciled daily, so "how did we go last month?" has an answer.
  2. Questions arrive by textAnswer on your phone and snap a photo of the receipt. No portal password.
  3. Deadlines stop being your problemBAS, payroll, super, tax returns and ASIC, lodged and tracked.
  4. Tax is planned before 30 JuneNot explained to you after the year has closed.

What do you need help with?

Most people come to us for one of four reasons. Start with the one that fits; we'll look at the rest when it matters.

  1. Getting the compliance off your plate

Bookkeeping in Xero, BAS and GST, payroll and Payday Super, company, trust and individual tax returns, ASIC and FBT. Fixed weekly price, one client manager.

  2. Paying the right amount of tax

Year-round tax planning, a pre-30 June review, capital gains tax advice, and help when you buy or sell a business. Planned ahead, not explained afterwards.

  3. Protecting what you've built

Company and trust structures, asset protection, family trusts, restructures, and succession and estate planning, coordinated with your solicitor.

  4. Running a self-managed super fund

SMSF accounts and returns, the independent audit coordinated for you, and compliance watched all year, including property, 13.22C trusts and Division 296.

Behind with the ATO? We'll help you catch up, without judgement. Looking for something else? See every service.

Deadline: 30 June 2027

The biggest changes to capital gains tax in a generation start on 1 July 2027

The 50% CGT discount ends for future growth on most assets held by individuals and trusts, a 30% minimum tax on capital gains begins, pre-CGT assets lose their status, and negative gearing on established homes bought after 12 May 2026 is quarantined. A separate Bill proposes a minimum tax on discretionary trusts from 2028. It is not law yet.

Most people don't need to sell anything. Some should restructure before 30 June 2027, and almost everyone with investments needs good valuations. We'll tell you which group you are in.

An AI-native accounting firm. People still sign everything off.

BPAG works exclusively on Nagaris, the practice platform built for Australian accounting firms. More than 80 specialist AI agents draft and check the work, from BAS reviews and Division 7A to trust resolutions and CGT calculations. A qualified accountant reviews it and signs it off. Client data is stored in Australia.

You notice it as speed and calm: questions by text instead of long email chains, documents signed on your phone, one engagement for the whole family group, and senior people with time to think about your business.

  1. The agent drafts

From what's already on your file: Xero data, last year's return, your trust deed.

  2. It checks itself against the rules

Every BAS label traced to the transactions behind it; every figure tested against current rates.

  3. An accountant reviews and signs off

Nothing reaches you or the ATO without a person approving it.

Questions people ask before they call

What does BPAG Accountants do?

We look after the accounting, tax, BAS, payroll, SMSF and company compliance for Australian business owners and their families, and we advise on tax planning, cash flow, business structures, asset protection and succession. Most clients come to us for compliance first and stay for the advice.

What does "AI-native" mean for me as a client?

All our work runs on Nagaris, a practice platform with more than 80 specialist AI agents for Australian accounting work. The agents draft and check; a qualified accountant reviews and signs off. For you that means faster answers, questions you can answer on your phone, and senior people spending their time on advice rather than admin.

Do I have to be near one of your offices?

No. We have offices in Sydney, Bundoora in Melbourne, Bungendore near Canberra and Black Forest in Adelaide, but most work happens over email, phone and video, and we work with clients right across Australia.

How much do you charge?

Most business clients are on a fixed weekly plan: Compliance Essentials from $149 a week, Business Insights from $249 a week and Fractional CFO from $499 a week, all plus GST. Advisory projects are quoted as a fixed fee before we start. See our pricing page for what each plan includes.

Can you help if I am behind on my tax?

Yes, and without judgement. We catch up overdue returns and BAS, deal with the ATO for you, and set up payment plans or remission requests where they fit. The sooner you start, the more options you usually have.

How do I switch accountants to BPAG?

Book a free strategy call. If we are a good fit, you sign one engagement for your whole family group, we contact your previous accountant for your records, and we take over your ATO and ASIC agent links. You do not have to manage the handover yourself.
